Loading world in a server
« on: September 06, 2002, 02:40:25 pm »
Hi all,

I just compiled the CVS version of planeshift on a OpenBSD box.

My problem is that when I start the server and the type status, I get the following output:
------------------------------------------------------
Mounting maps: dungeon.
-Server Console initialized (src/server/psserver-V0.1)-
Initializing database...
Database Host: \'localhost\' User: \'planeshift\' Databasename: \'planeshift\'
ok!
Initialize Network Thread...
Listening on \'0.0.0.0\' Port 13331.
ok!
Created new message handler
Started msg handler thread...
Started User Manager
Started Chat Manager
Started Guild Manager
Initialising CEL ---- Currently 0 clients using 0.00Kbps upstream, 0.00kbps downstream...
CEL is initialised!
Started Character Manager!
Initializing NPC Spawn Manager...
Started Authentication Server
Server status reporter initialized.
PS Server: status
Server:  is running.
World: not loaded.
Connection Count: 0.
 Name                      CNum   Ready
  *** List Empty ***
--------------------------------------

My problem is then, how can I load a World so that to be able to log?

 Thanks in advance

You do something like:

PS Server: loadmap mapname ( dungeon is the test map in cvs )

You can also type help for a list of server commands.
