Ok, this is odd. What version of Mac OS X do you have? What is your processor (speed and type) and how much RAM do you have?

This is the first time I have heard of a kernel panic during Planeshift - it can also be caused by external hardware devices, or flaws in the OS being exposed by heavy use, but hardware problems (maybe with your 3D acceleration?) are possible.

You may also want to post a log of the Kernel Panic. You can find this log in /Library/Logs/panic.log .
If it\'s not too long, you can probably post it up here. Otherwise, you\'ll have to email it.
