And with that little snippet, Bannon Decarte is born.  I have to say that from everything I have read thus far, this looks to be an interesting prospect.  I have played alot of RPGs and MMORPGs including NWN (I am a big D&D fan, what can I say???), so the thought of finding a place where RP is the prefered method is a diamond in the rough.  As of this post I have downloaded the client 91%, and am eagerly awaiting entry into the world...


Based on the requirements on naming conventions, I trust that the character name I have specified is considered valid.  If not, there are others I can use.

Oh, and whilst I remember (I have been reading through this topic with some interest, as well as others), it does not matter what status the world is in, it is the players who make it what it is...those who complain would do well to remember that.

Many thanks for the welcome Karyuu, as I said, it is good to find a place with such a good feeling.  The only other place I have this is our NWN persistant world, and that has taken almost 4 years to get to where it is...we have the contributions and support of our player base to thank for that.  With any luck (it is finally DL), I will be able to lend my own \'special\' kind of support here as well.

I too would like to meet in game. Unfortunately I am having a few technical difficulties involving my Uni ITS Internet, their use of http firewalls and the ping of this game to receive data. But I will be back soon hopefully; and in the meantime check out my guild http://www.keldjan.garlando.org. There will be some changes when I get back in-game as it is reformed though.

Another draw of the sweet ale, another effort not to collapse of exhaustion.

as the door opens Hokinon looks up from his seat by the fire and sees a strange figure stagger in through the door, as Hokinon continues eating his meal the figure is greeted by a seated and cloaked Klyros and and on asking for an ale is offered a drink by the Ylian at the bar.

Hokinon remains silent while finishing his meal, taking a sip of Demorian brandy every now and then, but all the time he is aware of the trio by the bar and with half an ear listens to the strangers story unfold.....
