Error between towns

my character is in the stone tunnel area between the starting town and the town past the mages guild.

well anyway I try to load the game and it says this in an error popup window


The instruction at \"0x7c910f29\" referenced memort at
\"0x00000000\". The memory could not be \"read\".
Click on OK to terminate the program



if you could help i would appreciate it. Thanks.

I had the same problem when going from Hydlaa plaza to the arena. Every time quite the same spot, very close to the end of the tunnel (had the problem from the other side, too).

Robzombie179, did you buy any armor in the game? I bought a pair of leather boots, but sold them soon after (i read they are not implemented). Someone guessed there could be a connection.

Another hint might be the camera - when using a 3rd person view and standing near the tunnel entrance, i can sometimes see the scenery from outside, where you could never go to.
Perhaps the camera gets to a spot that it can\'t show or something?

I once was able to avoid the crash when moving to the tunnel in 1st person view. I don\'t know whether it will help again, tho.

edit: Problem is solved - well, evaded - now anyways, but i just want to add that it could not have to do with the camera as well. At least it could not only be the cameras fault, because the crash also appeared in 1st person now (see next reply from Game Master zabeal for reason).

No, crashes are not cuased by armor- I thought that myself at one point. Most crashes from going to a new area are caused by the background music being changed- you can fix this by either disabling just background music ingame, or the whole thing in setup. You\'ll get tired of the songs after the 100th time anyways

If you\'re having crashes connecting with only a specific character can you post your username and the character name. I or one of the other devs will investigate the problem in more detail.

hmmm the music? well will try that, but I have to say since I am going in first person past those areas the chrashes are almost no longer existing. Perhaps changing music and the camara point at the same time is to much or something and the problem is decreassed when you go first person.
