Updater Stall

Hello, just recently (2-3 days ago) downloaded PS and had high hopes for it- awesome looking for free! However, when I went to update it would dl the registry and some of the files perfectly, everything was normal, untill it went to dl 1 file.

  I believe the file itself was sounds/gui/bttn_quit and I used the search option and found this thread:

  at which point I tried that, opening the PHP file and finding the line which said passcode, etc. However when I tried to access it, I kept being denied.

  Now I\'m curious- was there something I did wrong or what?

  Is there any other way to go about this? I would love to play the game, but this is quite frustrating.

Now, let\'s see if I understood right your problem.

It is clear that you have the common problem of getting stuck on the updates on the file bttn_quit.

Why do you open a PHP file? I think in the thread there was written to open an XML file called updaterconfig.xml that is in the directory where you have installed Planeshift.

Maybe you were trying to open the wrong file?
Ah, and do it when you have not the updater open...
