high kick

this is just some warrior kicking somebody in the face.

I know that the shoulder looks weird btw making the arm seem longer.

yeah, that arm really jumps out at you. you can fix it though if you just erase that part of the shoulder and then use the lasso tool to select the rest of the arm. the use free transform to move that part of the arm and then redraw back in the empty spaces.

other than the dislocated shoulder though and how his kicking leg looks kinda deformed and unatural, it looks good:tup:

Ah, unfortunately you can\'t take my critique and directly apply it.

You see, his torso needs more lean to make it believeable.

looks much better with the update good job.  still something funny looking about the leg though.  maybe its something to do with the foot... i dunno can\'t really put my finger on it. good work though it looks as good as or better than anything ive ever drawn.

Whenever I see some dumb blue/grey guy doing this on the streets of my town and don\'t forget the barbaric armor and sharp weird sword, I will go over their and instead of snapping his leg I will shoot him down because hes got a sword and id get stabbed if I tried to get up close! I will make sure to do this before a old person hits him with their car or a cop gets to it first...somehow unlikely!

first of all, i doubt u will ever meet light blue/grey skin
guy with all that weird armor...


ok, it was meant to be fast obviously... this is not an animation, just a still pose while doing a reverse high kick.. eh whatever, i\'m confused myself.  it doesn\'t really matter what he doing actually, maybe he just likes to raise his leg to lay a big juicy fart(notice the anguish face while his laying it).. well, you judge, But don\'t say this picture sucks please, since when these threads started to be flamed??

Last time I checked the Art threads were for opinions maybe I should have toned it down a little ok if you prefer this you can have it...

    Your picture didn\'t catch my eye in anyway, it rather upset me. In my opinion the only thing remotely close to skill in the picture is the coloring/shading but even then someone might be able to disagree who knows! I am not saying I could do any better because god and anyone who saw my sketches on a few threads can see my skill with hand drawings cannot surpass a chimp! Better luck next time!

i can understand why it upset you.
i maybe spent 2-3 hours on both sketch and coloing
not a great job on my part...

BUT, it\'s my first drawing in maybe 2 months so...


random thouts; it\'s funny how you lose skill in drawing
after not drawing for a while... i always start over from begining
