Welcome to Planeshift !
(Hehe, should I be granted permission to welcome new players already ?)

This is known and easily fixable issue. It is explained in this -> sticky post in Linux related forum
Quote
Planeshift version: 3.010
Error message: ./setup.sh: line 57: dialog: command not found
Synopsis: Installer exits due to lack of dialog program, dialog is a part of the most modern distributions as one of the base programs, since many scripts used to configure your system, such like netconfig are using it. It is required program for the Linux Installer to work.
Solution: Install a dialog program.

Congratulations! You have choosen the right OS ( :P for Windows users)
BTW: all Linux related issues should go to Linux specific issues forum
