The DNS aren\'t the problem then.
The first address you gave, it\'s a public address belonging to Vrije Universiteit Brussel, most probably is a router that controls the outgoing bandwith of your local network, for some reason, it\'s blocking the packet (that is, it has a firewall enabled) or it hasn\'t a defined route to reach the next network. I guess the best you can do is try to get in contact with the network administrator of the University, and see if he/she can help you.
