please! i need some help with starting the game!


I have just finished installing the game and the crystal blue version but when i finish the char creation page were it says ready to upload char i click upload and then it doesnt do anything but say \"the server is down or cannot be reached check website or forms for more info.\"      I looked at the site but is says there are other players on so the server isn\'t down. I have ran the updater but that didnt help. i even set the color depth back but that didnt help.

 Please I need help does anybody have any information?!?!?!?

Disable your firewall or allow UDP access through port 7354 on your firewall/router.

my computer does not have a firewall but it does have a virus protection program it is called norten antivirus. you think that might cause the problem

I hardly doubt that has anything with the antivirusprogram 2 do... just open up the port 7354 on your router/modem like moogie said and then try.. it would solve it... if not ask again when u?ve tried it...

im sorry i am probly sounding like a complete idiot but what to you mean by that. i have no idea what opening the port and i have no idea what that is or were it is. can you tell me how to do that?

is the modem directly connected to your computer... and for that matter tell what the brand and model number of the modem are.
