Lag Problem

Is it me or is it everytime I get near somewhere outside of the town (i.e. caves) my computer will just start to lag like crazy and soon it just locks up.  I can\'t go anywhere other than in the town.  My computer meets the requirments, and I\'m running in 16 bit mode due to  black screen bug.  Is there any option to turn down the graphics or just to make it run smoother?

Go into 32 bits desktop colour depht and you will not lag anymore. I think there is a problem with the 16 bits cd.
You will loose all the buttons like buy/sell accept/refuse trade etc.. but at least you will be able to play.

One problem, if I go into 32 bit mode, then the game is all black and stuff.  So I don\'t know what is wrong but I hope it gets fixed in next version, otherwise I can\'t play.

Did you read the thread about black screen problem? Read it. There is a solution in there.
