Perhaps someone can shed some light on the following crash problem in the PS client.
It occurs when I am just playing normally in PS. The client screen suddenly goes black and dies... with a message concerning ...
\"... instruction at 0x77fcca36 cannot write to memory location 0x81151515 \" ... (this is only an example memory location. The memory location is always different each time this occurs)
The program does not offer to write a dump file from this point.
I have no idea what is causing this.
By the way, As far as I know I do not have faulty memory on my computer. Every other application on my box runs perfectly.
System info: Win2K with 1.25 GiG of Ram, nVidia FX-500 workstation display card driving two monitors with an extended desktop. PS runs on the righthand monitor (full screen).
