any race can be used as long as you plan out how your character grew up, i.e. life events

First off it depends in which way(s) of magic you want to specialize in, then it largely depends on your character\'s history and of course you best pick a race with a good basis.

I suggest your lazy brother reads the guide .. everything you need can be found there, which magic ways use what stats and the starting stats of all the races

Edit: Karyuu don\'t forget about diaboli .. they are a pretty good magic race as well.
