My music
« on: August 21, 2005, 11:23:36 am »
First of all i know this is VERY off topic and i didnt think it deservered to go into the tech support because it wasnt to do with PS. I use windows media player, often when i listen to music, it will be fine for the first 2 seconds then the music will, go wierd and dip and rise back up.Almost as it someone was stretching it then letting it go back to normal. I have just lived with it for a long time, but it gets REALLY annoying, i didnt know where else to post this, and who better i thought could help me than my fellow PS buddies. So if you have any explination, or possible cause for this, it would be greatly apprecieated. :D

one of the main causes of that is either your computer is too old, like my other one and so it runs slow when you play music and so stretches the music or slows it down. Another things is it might be that you need an up-to-date version of Windows Media Player. you could try using Real Player if it fails again or use Winamp like Drey :P:D;)

Not sure what your problem is, but, you could try out iTunes from Apple, they have a windows version, its really good. :)

Quintessential is the best out there hands down. Iv triend em all, wmp, real, winamp, itunes...
Quitessential still works the best. No bugs or errors that you get with winamp and stuff and no extra things that come with it. Not to mention the quality.
