Cannot Login today

Everything was going well, and I walked into a room where the Region loads. While waiting for it to finish, I got a message saying the Server was sending back a signal and that normally I should not see it, with the word OK at the bottom. I click on OK and am kicked out.  

I try to go back in, and I get an access violation message (which I uploaded already to command.no-ip.com-dmp  as requested).  Then remembering there was a server down period earlier I decided I should try running update and did so. Now I get a runtime error message saying that the application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way, and that I should contact the support team. The application in question is psclient.exe

What can I do to get back to playing?

Can you specify which kind of error where you getting?
I mean, usually when the program crashes (it closes itself in an unexpected way) it says error 234872938 bla bla bla. (There are plenty of little similar things spread all over the forum if what I am saying is totally unclear).
Maybe that would help?

Anyway, a lot of problems are caused by the sound, therefore, try to disable it in pssetup (start->programs->Planeshift Crystal Blue-> Planeshift Setup).
