Corrupt kernel or something

when i click the launch (its installed) icon, Command Prompt opens up and says a long winded form full of gibberish of saying: that theres something wrong weith the environment kernel or CS kernel or something could anyone with suggestions email me at gameboy_ty@hotmail.com?

posting that \"gibberish\" could probably help to see what your problem is, as well as more info, like how did you install etc...

i tried to copy the text but i couldnt. To be more specific it said: WARNING: could not load plugin \'crystalspace.kernel.vfs\'
ERROR(in red text):csinitializer::SetupConfigManager Failed!
is your crystal environment variable set?




after that anything i press exits it...

thats it word for word, couldnt get a shot so i copied it

that and (sirta off topic) how long does it take to update. I ran the updater for 45 mins then exited because all i was getting was like archives/maps(or whatever)/(a bunch of random numbers and lowercase letters)
then (on next line)
loading zip.
that continued on for 45 mins

did you let the updater finish his update?
because its supposed to take near an hour i think.

ya i got it fixed and everything after updating but could someone tell me the system specs on it? I never got past LOADING WORLD... i waited an hour on a cable connection

i found out that useing the graphical updater just lagged things so bad it went in circles. I ran the recover mode and after about 30 mins it was done and i could run PS
