Could you be so kind and tell us what OS you\'re using?
Maybe we can help you then ...

As PS uses OpenGL, have you ever tested your OpenGL-performance under Windows?

By the way, how do you know you don\'t have 3D acceleration?

First of all, sorry about my english

I played another games who requiered 3D acceleration.

On propperties, i fixed Hardware acceleration on the most performance.

By the way... how could i test my openGl\'s performance under windows?

thanks for all

Where do you see hardware acceleration in the setup?

By the way, for benchmarking you could try

http://www.glexcess.com/defaultn.asp
http://themasmo.interfree.it/

That\'s what I found with two minutes searching, if this doesn\'t work, just search for opengl benchmarks.

i have same problem
my graphic card is : GForce mx 440

i have latest drivers installed still game runs very slow
when character is in open area
speed decrase to 1 frame / 20 seconds !

for example UT 2003 with all details and Hi-Res is much faster
like 10-20 Fpshowever it uses Direct 3D

I have athlon 1,8 Ghz Cpu and 256 Ram
i know ram is not problem cause game doesnt use Virtual memory at all and HD is not working while playing

Maybe you have hardware acceleration, but it\'s not sufficient to bring you up to decent framerates.

This game is not yet optimized, and my Geforce 6600 sometimes drops to 4 FPS on the plaza.

If there really is a lack of hardware acceleration then I can\'t help you because I run PS on a Linux machine ...

Try updating your graphics drivers, you probably have some old default driver that only supports Direct3D and no OpenGL.
