Ubuntu -- problem with "dialog"
« on: September 23, 2005, 12:16:28 pm »
Hi,

I am using Ubuntu Linux 5.04, and I have a problem with the installation.

When I do:
$ sudo sh setup.sh

I get:

\"Checking if dialog program is installed...
Dialog program, which is required to use this software, cannot be found.
Please install this program before continuing Planeshift installation.
You may obtain it from your distribution FTP or install disk.\"

Then, when I try to get dialog with:

$ sudo apt-get install dialog

I get:

\"Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Package dialog is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source
E: Package dialog has no installation candidate\"

Anyone knows how can I solve this???

Thanks in advance

Induane
