when I click on join game with the client (version 00.12 for amd64), it gives me an error:

what can I do?
I use gentoo linux, with a 2.6.14 kernel on an amd64 3000+, 768mb of ram and a nVidia geforce fx 5500 video card with 256mb of video ram.
