problem with loading world

ok while it isloading the world this message comes up:
Something unexpected happened in PlaneShift: Crystal Blue
Details: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 7C00724A


what does this mean, and what do i have to do to fix it?

Try disabling sound, and/or changing your default skin to the stone skin. Options for both of these settings are available through the PlaneShift setup application :)

i tired chanign the skin to stone didnt work though, now im tryign to disable teh sound, but i dont see like a disable sound buton, in the sound options it only says:

DirectSound 3D
OpenAL
