Welcome to Sekhemet\'s Lessons in Spelling, Vocabulary, and other Nifty Things You Should Know! (the SLSVNTYSK for short...ish.)
Our first lesson is on spelling. Remember that a silent \"e\" at the end of a word makes the preceeding vowel have a long sound. Bluntly, the vowel will say its name. For example:
the word can (kan) + e ending = cane (kayne)
the acronym DOS (doss) + e ending = dose (doze)
The word \"dose\" does not exist, but the principle still applies. The word the OP seemed to be searching for was the word \'does\' (pronounced duhz. think of a bratty l33t speaker. ^_^)
Our second lesson is punctuation. Punctuation is good. It is your friend and can help you throughout your life. It makes your sentences easier for others to read. The OP\'s sentence should read: \"Does the Commissioned Weapon quest work? I don\'t think the Trepor Teeth quest works. If it does, please tell me why. It says: \'(so and so) does not need this item\'. \"
This is the end of today\'s lesson, class. I expect to see you all for next post\'s lesson: Constructing a Good Sentence. And you three in the back, please see me in my office.
