Looking for a good time.

Get your mind out of the gutter!

I am currently looking for an active guild. I am 5 days into the game and I have a pretty good grasp of the game. I am a male I am 27 years old from the good ol\' USA.

I am looking for a mature guild that is active most of the time. I am a pretty cool cat that loves to have fun. If anyone is intrested I have a Ventrilo server that I own and would be willing to share.

In PlaneShift, and particularly in the Guild Forum, you are supposed to search for a guild yourself ;) Simply take a look at the stickied list of guilds - I\'m sure you\'ll find something that may catch your eye.

I actually am looking for that as well,

My main concern is Activity, I am concerned that I am going to join a guild and then never see a guild member on again,

I do understand your point tho. I am currently looking at the lists for the last 10 minutes

The best way to find out if a guild that interests you is currently active is to 1) check their forums, 2) look for/ask about the guild within the game itself, and 3) ask the guild members :)

Since you already started the thread, it could be interesting to hear what your character is like. :) What ambitions does he have? What alignment does he have? (Warning: dont discuss your opinions on alignments or your thread will be highjacked :P)
Maybe there are people here who could lead you to the best guild for you ;)

As for the \"Thank you Kary\" I forgot his/her name so I used the short version :)


As for my caracter I am the built guy with the beard, my stance is Light, Ive always was the good guy in these types of games.

My ambition was always to take care of my own and make whatever sacrafices I need to make to make sure the town is safe and happy.


Ive been a really huge RPG fan but in games only (Final Fantasy, Dragons Quest and so forth) Ive noticed this guy is a bit more in depth than I realized. I was looking for a guild that is willing to help and to also have some fun.

I am keeping away from recommending a Guild to you.
it has to be you\'re own choice, but there is a site where you can see the most active Guilds around.

This is the site that hosts the Planeshiftserver and can not be altered by others.

Player hours and member quantity is hardly a good way to be sure about a guild\'s quality.

Karyuu\'s idea\'s alot better, check our Guild List to have an idea of what each guild stands for.
After you have a little idea of the guilds that would fit your character, inquire the members of these guilds and check out their forums.

That\'s the smartest thing to do, have fun.

I agree on you\'re point too, Sagwa.
With both information you can make a good choose.
We dont have to promote our Guild, because all the
information you need is posted in Guilds forum already.

Have a look at all Guilds and then choose which suits you best.
And even then if you don\'t like them, you can leave and
search for another Guild.
Joining and leaving a Guild is free.

Only thing is that some Guilds ask why you are leaving,
to see if they can do something about it in the future.

I\'d like to see the list expanded to the top 10.  It\'s nice to know the Dark Shadows Guild if tied for #2, but I would also like to know where we are in Player Hours.  It must be in the top 10 I\'d think.  I mean I must have logged like 200 hours in front of that merc by now.
