Black spots
« on: December 20, 2005, 10:34:19 pm »
When I move around in planeshift there are certain spots that are completely black and where I can\'t see at all. I\'ve tried doing -fullbright but that hasn\'t helped at all. Everyone that I\'ve talked to on the game is cluless on how to fix it, any ideas?

Hiya,

Have you checked that you have the latest drivers for your graphics card? :)
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

If you\'re using an nvidia card, download the latest drivers from nvidia.com. If you\'re using ATI, try ati.com. Basically find your card model, and download the drivers from the manufacturer\'s website. They\'re free updates :)

Make sure you are downloading the correct drivers, however! For some reason, a few individuals owning one certain model decided to download drivers for a completely different brand. Be sure you know which ones you need.
