Gentoo installation

Hi folks!

I\'ve just tried out PS on WinXP and I loved it (altough had problems with the default Software-sound, so used OpenAL).

I\'m trying to install the game on my AMD64 with Gentoo. I\'ve followed all the steps in the tutorial but it was no use. It was complaining about newer files n stuf but the updater didn\'t work well.

So I\'m trying to install with Easy PlaneShift build script now. If it fails I\'ll edit this post. At the moment I\'d like to ask you to update the Gentoo install page (http://laanx.fragnetics.com/index.php?page=build_gentoo)

Here are my instructions to build Planeshift on Gentoo . The instructions are based on the Slackware guide because I found them better (don\'t remember why)

Build Planesift from CVS sources

The instructions are for the current \"official\" client. If you want to build the latest and greatest version, check out current HEAD versions both for CrystalSpace and Planeshift. My current build is from 2006-01-07 and seems to be working so far.
