Very newbie, is this just a problem with the linux client question

Logged on with the linux client (kudos, it looks really nice so far) and could not move at all, also had a terrible time with chat, lots of dropped letters, is this just the current status of the linux client?

Since this question has been being asked every week I have come to the conclusion that yes, there is a problem with the linux client, most likely less problems with it then the windows version though.

Hmm, it could be that the rendering was just too slow on your machine that it couldn\'t handle things properly.  The Crystal Space engine has undergone some good improvements since the last release so hopefully that may help your situation when the new version is released.  

( I haven\'t had this issues in my linux client so not totally sure of the cause at this moment ).

could try changing the  resolution setting in your config file
