What is your favorite cocktail?
« on: February 26, 2006, 12:16:59 am »
Hello all,

So what\'s your pleasure? If your favorite cocktail is novel or unorthadox, what\'s the recipe?

Personally, I like the good old (not too sweet) standards like a vodka tonic, or scotch and soda.

Ice cold Mojito\'s sitting by the beach :C~

Mojitos:

Peppermint leaves
Suggar (brown suggar is the best)
Sparkling water
Rum

Crush the leaves with the suggar in a small bowl, put the mixture in a glass with lot of ice, 3/4 sparkling water, stir a bit, add the rum carefully (not supposed to mix too much with water when it\'s served, people mix  them themselves if they want to)
Note: Use real rum, the  one that\'s brownish, not the crappy transparent one.

1) Berr
(any cheep beer in the frig, you know the ones that taste like water to you Germans.  Although Miller makes one called Amber Bock that is dark in color and has a bit more flavor than the \"king\".)

2) Scotch and water, no ice ( for some reason local bar tenders have an issue with the no ice thing. The ratio is about 50/50, after a few of these I am ready for the straight stuff.  When you drink it like this you can tell the difference from a cheap scotch and top shelf one.)

3) Coke (for nights that I am driving, if you order coffe every one knows what your drinking, with coke it looks like a mixed drink)

normally i just drink beer but if i need to have a drink it\'ll be something cheesy like vodka and chocolatemilk(50,50) or vodka and j?germeister and strohrum (30%, 50%, 20%)
