Can't update vfs.cfg - wrong CRC, skipped

Running the updater (under Windows) with "-auto -console", I can watch its actions a bit more detailed, so I was able to spot the following error message:

MD5 sum doesn't match after downloading vfs.cfg. Skipping
"How important" is this update? Can you provide a direct link, or the differences to apply?
