2 things.

1) @ zanzibar--we basically said that war was a tie, even though both sides claim victory, because the DSG were winning by far at first, but then I (masoj) lost power for the rest of the night and another leader on left.  From then on you guys were beating us, but do to ooc reasons.

2) This is a great thing you have done, hopefully you guys are successful.  Being active like I've heard will give the 'protecting' guilds something to RP against, rather then the inactive evil guilds that existed before.

Uh.... I joined their ranks, I rallied them to take a stand infront of the temple.  Dark Shadows surrounded us and tried to get us when our backs were turned.  We killed three Dark Shadows without any of us dieing, and the Dark Shadows that were left ran away except for one who was quickly killed.  We killed four and lost none, I would call that a victory - but only for that battle.  The war might have gone differently, but the one battle I was involved in was a clear victory for Aradia's members.  When Aradia said that she wanted to solve the war through talking, I left the guild since I was no longer needed.

This portion of the post is directed towards shorty13 and Zanzibar:

One, I'm not the leader of the Thieves of Yliakum.

Two, that war was absolutely and completely pointless. I don't even know why it was fought. [Although, I must admit that it was interesting and a new experience for myself and my guild.]

Three, I didn't want Shalmaneser's help. However, Sov was gone and I figured that accepting Shalmaneser was something that Sov would do, so I did it.

Four, Masoj and Sov BOTH left, leaving their guilds without a leader and much direction. Thieves and Shadows both died left and right, so it's impossible to say who truly "won". Thieves do not claim a victory at all. In fact, we thought the whole idea to be rather stupid.

In summary, the war was pointless and I'd like if it was never brought up again.

Now so I don't get flamed for going off topic here; about this guild. I think it's an excellent idea and the members that I have met so far, (namely Varic) seem to RP well. It's good to see chaotic evil guilds around with members that have at least half of a brain. :-)

On topic: aww a lubly little guild I mean, good to have another evil person around, shame your version of evil doesnt try to work with other evil, but hey, maybe you will come around to the sane side of the world ?

Besides, war is always pointless.  That doesn't mean you can't RP it.

It was a mixture of the two. I didn't think it was necessary to get into major detail about it in the forums, especially in a thread it's not in reference to.

If you are evil, quit your other guilds and join these guys! Varic has been doing an awesome job rp'in evil IMHO and this guild will turn out great if enough people join, especially if many of them make good leaders themselves.

There are different ways of being "evil"... different evil characters will have different motivations.
