Did I miss something...? why's everything unkillable?

I just logged in and all mobs cant be attacked, not even rats... did I miss an announcement about this or is my client just royally messed up?

Probably an error with the Npc server... Should be fixed before too long.

Please check the Gameplay FAQ:

If you are getting this message that means that the program controlling the NPC's behaviour (npcclient) has either crashed or it has been shut down by a developer in order to improve/fix something. Nobody knows when the program will be restarted, so don't ask.
