[RP] Reburn Resurrection

[Odessa Wildfire]

Firstly I would like to say greetings and thankyou to all whom were involved in Odessa's past adventures.  Some of my best memories were of those days...

And now I call upon you to join us for the final chapters of this on going struggle between the Wildfire sisters. 
In order to understand this plot I will need to explain past events to present day, and to clear up any misunderstandings.

The Story
Embers was murdered by an unknown a day before the two sisters were to meet for a finale battle.  After which everyone relaxed as did Odessa... but the vengeful spirit of Embers burned on and days later possessed Odessa's body whilst her guard was down.

For days a battle of wills was fought for control of the body until Odessa finally gave in and her spirit passed into the Death Realm.
There she has remained trapped ever since.
 
The RP story goals are:

1. Odessa contacts Rilar or Rilar gets an idea of Odessa's fate somehow.

2. Somehow an empty body is created.  This could be either a baby or a body becomes available.

3. Odessa gets enters the body and becomes reborn or resurrected.

Embers then proceeded to raise a small army to take Hydlaa by force and exact vengeance upon those who defied her in life. 
A few hours before the attack a joint effort between unnamed persons managed to draw Embers spirit and imprisoned it within a Dark Claymore.  The sword was then given to Janner for safe keeping.

It was Alhana who awakened the sleeping  essence of Embers after all this time and restored her to a new body.
Embers now roams the land with new objectives... buts that's another story

I feel the urge to explain the backgroud of Odessas post.

As being said in the "shadows of the hills" thread, Odessa and I invented a system for RP, named "milestone system".
The reason why we invented this system was because we wanted to lower the risk of a total desaster that can happen with fully written down plots (like it happened shortly before, at that time). At the same time we wanted to have something that makes it easy to keep track of a big story with many substories and so on, making it even possible to play out things that happened in the past or future, relativating time.

This system actually helped a lot the first time it was being tested it out, but there was a mistake. There was no central and open place to look things up, the outcome of sessions and so forth. With that post we try to avoid making the same mistake again.

The milestone system is build on sessions.
Each session has a setting, a given background (Input) and a given outcome, result (Output).
A session itself can be seen as black box.
Usually there are only a few given things as Input and Output, so the RPers are pretty free in how they develop the story, one only should keep the intented result in mind. Each session creates a more detailed outcome that is used as Input for sessions taking place later in time.
It doesn't really matter what exactly happens in each session, only the results are important, as they are taken, as said, as base for other sessions.

The "plot" as Odessa posted it, is a very rough outline of how the story might work out. If the actual result doesnt comply with the intented result it isn't a big problem as long as there is no other session that took something else as background that doesn't fit.

An Unexpected Meeting

Odessa sighs as she looks over the edge of the path into the thick darkness beyond of the underealm.
Lost in hazey memorys from long ago which become harder to recall with each moment which passes.

It is then that she becomes aware of someone standing behind her, its eyes staring into the back of her head.
Turning slowly and defencelessly she finds herself face to face with a male enkidukai looking at her with a friendly smile.

Odessa smiles weakly
Fellice says: hmmm... nice view
Fellice says: are you lost? or are you just waiting for someoone?
Odessa says: Yes... yes it is. A view I spend looking at a great deal of time.
Odessa says: No my friend... im not lost...
Odessa sighs "Just waiting..."
Fellice says: okay
Odessa looks unhappy.
Fellice says: make sure you dont freeze .. its quite cold down here.
Odessa says: I have become accustomed to the temperature here.
Fellice says: oh ... sounds bitter
Odessa looks far off into the distance.
Odessa says: Nobody stops to talk anymore.
Odessa says: They just run by as if a werent here.
Fellice says: how comes you are down here so often that you already got accustomed to all this?
Odessa turns with tears in her eyes
Fellice says: well I stopped. I noticed that something was not quite right here
Fellice says: you know .. cats can feel such things
Odessa says: Im..trapped here.
Fellice smiles a warm cat-smile
Odessa says: I know... I once had a friend of your kind.
Fellice says: who trapped you here?
Odessa looks at the floor. "...someone once dear to me..."
Fellice says: oh ... how sad.
Fellice says: if there is anything i could do for you, please tell me. i try my best though i cannot promise i'll be capable of fulfilling your request.
Odessa says: Maybe...
Odessa looks brightly at the enki...
Odessa turns.
Odessa says: Yes! You can help!
Odessa 's face lights up "You must find someone for me..."
Odessa says: An old friend.
Odessa says: He is of your race.
Fellice says: hmm okay, tell me more... i need to know as much detail as possible.
Odessa says: His name is Rilar... He used to spend alot of time in hydlaa.
Fellice says: hmmm Rilar ... not that i ever heared of him.
Odessa says: Please! You must find him and tell him that I am still here...waiting.... trapped.
Odessa says: I need his wisdom.
Fellice says: did .... he trap you here?
Odessa laughs for the first time in a long time.
Odessa says: No no my friend...
Odessa says: He helped me realise who I was...he found me in the dark.
Odessa says: I dont know how much time has passed, but he found me wondering here... I had forgetten who I was.
Odessa says: This place does that to you.
Fellice says: ah. i see. so he guided your soul to the light of the sun again.
Fellice says: yes this place is weird...
Fellice says: strange things keep on happening down here
Odessa says: Well, he showed me a glimmer of hope... but I cannot pass into the realm of the living as I have no body to return to.
Odessa says: I would have passed through here If my body still lived.
Fellice says: have you ever tried to escape? tried to move?
Odessa says: I have tried to escape.
Odessa says: But I cannot get anywhere near the Library for some reason.
Fellice says: the library ... ahhh... yes i remember... i was in there once. It's a dark place ... i didnt like it there so i got out as quickly as i could.
Odessa says: I have never felt fear such as when near that place.
Fellice says: well... hmmm... maybe it's somethig in there that keeps your soul from passing the gates of light?
Odessa looks confussed.
Fellice says: By Laanx .... her soul is fading ... ive gotta do something ... quickly
Fellice says: hmm mmaybe .. i could ...
Fellice says: maybe this helps a bit
Odessa dosent feel any different.
Fellice says: hmmm... this is all i could do for now.
Fellice says: i'm so sorry but i am still weak on the path of the crystals...
Fellice says: but it was worth a try.
Fellice says: if I only knew where we could start...
Odessa says: But I dont want to ask you to endanger your life for me.
Fellice says: so you say it is that library that's keeping you from leaving this place
Odessa nods
Fellice says: or something that's in there.
Odessa says: I dont know.
Odessa says: But it feels horrible to try to go near it.
Fellice says: hmmm .. i'll be right back!.
Fellice says: i'll check that place and come back as soon as possible
Fellice says: wait here, friends... for my return...

Odessa watches the enkidukai run off towards that dreaded place.  A small glimmer of hope sparkles within her like a star fighting to be seen through a cloudly night sky.

She whispers words unheard to the now distant figure "Becareful... my friend."
She sits at the side of the path and breathes a heavy sigh "Where are you Rilar, why did you leave me behind?"

[Hey Odessa, I hope you don't mind me posting this. I was quite amazed actually, I only saw this topic after our conversation, I really had no idea this was a worked out RP story  ]

New Hope:

Eliseth sees a woman sitting at the side of the path in the Death Realm, seeing the look of sadness on her face, she decides to approach her.

(17:34:43) Eliseth bows her head in greeting
(17:34:54) Odessa looks to the enkidukai with couriosity
(17:34:59) Eliseth sheaths her weapons "Don't need these right now"
(17:35:09) Eliseth says: Hello there
(17:35:19) Odessa smiles "Hello"
(17:35:40) Eliseth kneels to rest
(17:35:57) Odessa is sat on the side of the path.
(17:36:37) Eliseth says: Hmm... why are you so sad?
(17:36:52) Eliseth looks at Odessa quisically
(17:37:26) Odessa sighs "such a long story and yet I only remember parts of it recently".
(17:38:03) Eliseth looks puzzled "Would you like to share it with me?"
(17:38:40) Odessa looks at the Enkidukai with untrusting eyes.
(17:38:52) Odessa says: Who are you?
(17:39:16) Odessa says: Forgive me, but I have been decieved many times in the past.
(17:39:25) Eliseth smiles "Oh I'm so sorry, I'm Eliseth"
(17:39:46) Odessa nods. "And I am Odessa".
(17:40:30) Eliseth says: I'm pleased to meet you really, I hate seeing sadness on other people, I would like to help you if I can"
(17:41:20) Odessa laughs "Huh... many before you have said the same yet they never return".
(17:42:25) Eliseth looks saddened "Really? Well, although I am unable to give you proof, you can trust my word if you wish"
(17:43:11) Odessa says: Trust... *odessa repeats the word as though in memory*.
(17:43:51) Odessa says: Trust is something I have lost in others a great deal. I cannot remember why I feel this but...
(17:44:19) Odessa pauses
(17:44:46) Odessa says: What else do I have to loose....
(17:45:07) Odessa says: I have had has been taken from me..
(17:45:16) Odessa says: All I had*
(17:45:48) Eliseth blinks "By who... or what?"
(17:46:49) Odessa says: I can only tell you what I remember, and as I said that is little.

(17:49:02) Odessa says: Long ago... or at least it feels that way... I traveled to hydlaa seeking to start a new life as im sure most do...
(17:50:14) Odessa tries to remember all from before...
(17:50:40) Eliseth listens intently
(17:51:07) Odessa says: She... found me... taunted me for days. I had to hide like a rat in the tavern unable to leave.
(17:51:21) Eliseth says: She?
(17:51:33) Odessa looks away in pain.
(17:51:40) Odessa says: My sister...
(17:52:12) Odessa says: who I once loved so dearly.

(17:52:50) Odessa says: I cannot remember why she did this though....

(17:54:18) Odessa says: She challenged me... a battle to the death...
(17:54:42) Odessa says: only, the night before i was to be... someone murdered her.

(17:55:23) Odessa grits her teeth in pain and tears.
(17:55:36) Odessa says: I felt her around me after that...
(17:55:56) Eliseth says: Her spirit?

(17:56:29) Odessa says: For many nights I was plauged by nightmares of her...
(17:57:13) Odessa says: One day I awoke... and it was as my mind and body were at difference.
(17:58:01) Eliseth tilts her head "How do you mean?"
(17:58:36) Odessa says: At times I had little control over my body.
(17:58:50) Odessa says: I would say things... horrible things to friends...
(17:59:08) Odessa says: Yet I didnt know why.
(17:59:29) Eliseth says: Oh dear, do you think she possesed you?
(18:00:15) Odessa says: It must have been, for days I fought for control.
(18:00:37) Odessa says: But she was too strong!.
(18:01:11) Odessa sighs deeply "It was then I found myself here."

(18:02:38) Odessa says: But the portal would reject me.
(18:02:58) Eliseth looks surprised

(18:03:34) Odessa says: I wondered for an unknown lenght of time about here... tring to figure that out.
(18:03:56) Odessa says: It was then that two things happened.
(18:05:03) Odessa says: If I try to approach the the rooms ahead... I feel an intence fear which prevents me from passing...
(18:05:29) Odessa says: I cannot travel to parts of this realm which I once could.

(18:06:36) Eliseth says: Is there anyway, I could help you overcome that fear?
(18:06:45) Odessa says: the other thing was, I was found by an old friend of your kind who told me all that went before.
(18:07:16) Odessa says: My body died in the living realm.
(18:07:26) Odessa says: This is why I cannot return.
(18:08:32) Eliseth nods "Can you think of any way I could help from the otherside?
(18:08:42) Eliseth says: Summoning perhaps?

(18:10:49) Odessa says: I dont know what to do or how anyone can help. I have asked many before you to help me find one who might know.

(18:13:05) Odessa shakes her head "I have tried this with another before and recently by my self... its impossible.
(18:13:36) Eliseth says: Hmmm... there is something I could try, but it would mean going back to the living
(18:14:12) Eliseth says: You see, my father was a great healer, he taught me things that normal mages, even the most wise didn't know
(18:14:52) Odessa says: Rilar is the only one I feel may know the answer to this.

(18:24:31) Odessa says: I am gratful for your words but you will understand If I dont appear hopeful.
(18:25:15) Eliseth says: I understand very well, after all your disappointments, I'm surprised you even bothered talking to me
(18:25:36) Eliseth says: But the fact that you did tells me you have the slightest flicker of hope
(18:25:42) Odessa smiles "no my feline friend...it is you who spoke to me"

(18:29:11) Odessa turns her head towards eliseth and whisper "I feel uncomoftable in crowds".
(18:29:13) Eliseth says: Harer please, take no offence
(18:30:16) Harer stares deeply at odessa
(18:30:26) Odessa looks away.

(18:31:26) Harer says: The death relm is my home
(18:31:31) Odessa nods "I know, but I dont have a choice in this matter".

(18:32:06) Eliseth says: Harer, please leave her be, she has been through a lot.
(18:33:00) Odessa looks to Harer "If you seek battle I would reccomend the path ahead".

(18:39:56) Odessa shakes her head slowly "I see him standing on a balcony near many steps. A tavern within the background."
(18:40:15) Odessa says: But this was long ago...
(18:41:58) Eliseth says: I will go and find him. Here take this ring, it was my fathers gift to me before he died, it is linked to my being and as long as you hold it, you can always contact me
(18:42:32) Odessa takes the ring with wonder.
(18:42:48) Odessa looks to Eliseth "Are you sure?"
(18:43:19) Eliseth says: I am sure, you may give it back when I get you out of here
(18:43:36) Eliseth says: And I WILL get you out of here
(18:43:38) Odessa face livens with hope.
(18:44:01) Odessa says: I believe you.
(18:44:56) Eliseth smiles "Now I will leave you, may that ring bring you hope every time you look at it. If you need to contact me, concerntrate on the ring
(18:45:40) Eliseth pulls Odessa into a hug "It's about time someone showed you friendship"

(18:46:41) Odessa laughs through tears "Now look, youve got me crying again"

Eliseth once again finds herself in Yliakum. Going as fast as her Enkiudai legs would allow, she makes her way to Hydlaa.

I will return Odessa, I promise.
