Repeated crashing in Arena...

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this at present with the new client?

I tend to crash a lot when in the Arena.  Nowhere else seems to give me this problem. (only place I've not been since this new version is DR)

My current settings:

- Sound disabled
- Vertex buffers off.
- Windowed 800x600.
- All other options at their defaults.

Hardware:
- P4 @ 3GHz
- GeForce 6600 / 512MB
- 1GB RAM

Error:
"EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 00403467"

I understand you are frustrated but there are other threads conserning this.
Be patient, the devs are working on these problems.

Laragorn... I've just realised.. the post you are referring to... was made whilst I was typing this one.

I'm not frustrated though... not the slightest.. I'm in awe at how much work has gone into this update!!

i got the same problem. espescially on arena stairs.

it's still doesn't take the problem out by showing the other posts that people have put their problems in with the server's they need to be fixed immediately.

All i'm trying to say is that you're doing a great job it's just that you're doing a bad job at not putting a lot more people on it. Try that and it'll be fine. Still you've done a wonderful job building each server on C++ me i'm gonna try to make stuf on C++ sometime when i get the program. But for now i'm still a kid so yeah. But i did come first in my Year 10 Computing Studies class so i do rock.

You're doing an excellent job telling people what they already know... (a future consultant, maybe? ;))
