A wipe is long overdue in my opinion. Recently created characters are running around with combat skills in the hundreds. Fun to experiment with but not to test this kind of project. Don't get me wrong, I like my characters to develop their skills, but much more important is character immersion. To develop a credible character in an incredible world is a wonderful experience. What do we lose in a total wipe......some time, doing something we have enjoyed. Weapon and item loss is unimportant, the world contains an infinite possible number of Silverweaves, sometime soon we may create our own Iron weapons. The most important thing is the character.Save your description and generate another.[Take some screenshots of your character, target.... enter command /targetinfo .... enter command /screenshot .... copy or move from PS screenshots folder to place of choice]
Some people may not return, at least not right away. Spend some time now playing with and talking to your friends and enemies. The RP opportunities for this event are immense. How to explain the new start: A plague that lays us low, return of the Darkness in force, poisoned by an enemy, an as yet unexplained act of god or gods.This should be seen as a marvellous opportunity to be born again in a new world.
