Armor Repair

Am I correct in my observations that while leather armor can take damage (my chain vest seems indestructable) and armor repair kits are available, the Repair Armor function is still not available to the general public?  I have tried quite a few times in the past couple of days, and asked many others in game, but - no joy.  (or could it be that no one I've talked to yet, knows the correct procedure?)

i'm also wonder if you can or will be able to repair body armor like leather and chain mail

The main problem we have right now is that you have to hold the item that you want to repair in your right hand. Anything that you can take into your right hand can be repaired. Unfortunately it doesn't include light armor, but we are working on it.
