I don\'t know how long its been so before you insult me by calling me a noob take these things into consideration; I\'ve been away from ps for quite a while, I came back by chance and decided to share some ideas I had for a game that I\'m making for my LAN.  I don\'t sit hours on end infront of forums waiting for people to post something and jump on it, I merely browse.  I\'ve read some of the stuff that has been suggested and it is similar to what I\'ve posted.  I went by one of these 3 names (not too sure of which as I\'m not big on forums) Selain, Glouren, or Duke.  I\'m never very active in any forums so there is a slim to none chance that any of you would remember me.

First you come here and give ideas that have been planned pratically ever since I have been here.  Then you say you are not a n00b because you came here once a long time ago, signed up, then never posted? (and obviously learned nothing)

Going off the subject that hes a noob and everything, if you look at some of his \'original\' ideas there just copies from various games,

the reputation bar is just like dransik (as said above)and the seperate experience for different wepons is just like dragon raja.

I\'ve never played either of those games,  all of those ideas came from a game that myself and a few of my friends made in 1995-1996, the game sort of died as no one played it buts us.  And as for never posting in forums, it has shown true that people who consider theirselves leet, oldbies, or whatever tend to be assholes to people that don\'t use the forum alot/n00bs.  You\'ll get alot of new players like that. :rolleyes:

I really have no sympathy for people who leave because they were corrected/flamed/etc. because if your going to run away right after that you probably would not have stuck around anyways...and the PS community gets plenty of new people, the idiots run away while the smarter ones stay. (and others just disappear)

The game was called Age of Kingdoms.  It was a 2d hack/slash with partying system similar to el kardian.  (just the party system as it came out before EK)  The game started out in a land of peril set in the middle ages /w high fantasy, magic, dragons the whole nine.  Since it has been down for over 4 years there is no \"download.\"  It was a game played over a network, not server based.  We\'d play it whenever anyone decided to show up at \"The Comic Book\"  were we would play magic the gathering and nightmage mechwar etc.  Fun times but sadly those are over.  It started out as a text mud then when we upgraded to windows 95 we went graphical, and added alot of the stuff posted above.  (horrible graphics but it was alot of fun)  The whole project lasted about 3 years and we played it weekly/2 times a week. (which besides Chuck\'s store closing probably caused it to die)  And for those making comments of people running away after being corrected/flamed/etc I\'m not going anywere.  Close thread?
