Looking For a weapon?

I'm creating this as a 'Looking for' thread, for anyone who's looking for a specific weapon. They can post here, and then people can look in, and then say if they're have that weapon, and are willing to sell it.


I am looking for any dagger that has a name refering to a flower :flowers: of any type, for a freind.  :)

Trades should really happen in-game, searches for them included :} This is why we don't have an "Auction" or "Trades" forum section. It can take a bit longer to find what you are looking for, but that way it's kept to the game and its roleplay.

To add a generic comment about existing weapon names ...

I don't remember if a weapon "of a flower" exists. The best similar name could be "of Peace", maybe "of Seduction".

If anyone remembers a better similar name - tell us! ;)

Dont recall ever seeing a "flower" name.

 :offtopic:  I just looted this and have never see one before, what is a "Smargd" dagger ?

(I think thats how it was spelt)

"Smaragd-encrusted" is quite usual among swords. Probably just a piece of art; sometimes "encrusted" weapons cut better, sometimes slightly worse.

This thread could also be viewed as an "auction sign". Seeing as there are no actual signs in PS, a forum thread could make a nice subsitute. As long as traders RP their search as "seeing something on a sign" or something of the sort..

I like the idea of a "Sign Post" thread.
It is hard for people to track down that special item they are looking for, when the only person who has it is in game when they are asleep.
With the population of PS being world wide it isnt as easy as just ask around. I believe this would be a welcome and easily RPed addition.

That would be a good idea, If anyones played Runescape before, they have a online market. I would think that this would be well taken on by the community. Just need to check with the Admin now....

We prefer that trades happen in-game. This is why we don't have an Auction/Market forum section, and we're not going to be making one :} If someone wants to make a thread for it, that's fine - but I'm not exactly going to be eager to turn it into a sticky.

Actually, one of the main goals of PlaneShift, I think, is not_to_be likle Runescape :P
So, yeah, in an immersive mmorpg, we wouldn't want to go looking for items on a forum.

I was thinking along the lines of rare weapons, such as silverweaves, or someone looking for a certain one. Not for basic or non-descript weapons. But if it the wish of the Game masters, moderators, or the general public, then I will shut up and not speak of this again unless to warn another person from stumbling down this rocky ledge.
