Strengh Bug

I was going in the city once and i went up to the man by the gate who trains for strengh well i went up to him and trained in strengh just fine. All good.
Then a day or two later i went back up to him and asked him for strenth training and the screen was not showing that he could not help my strengh training!
if you can at all answer this plz tell me. my Str. is level 98 and started at level 97.

It's been awhile since I've gone through the training of stats, and my notes are at home while I'm at work so I can't verify this atm, but have you tried searching for another npc to give you strength training?

It could be that this particular npc doesn't train that stat any higher.

I think the guy you trained with is not suppose to train strength that high (I keep notes on skill trainers). I once encountered a problem like this as well where an NPC one moment said it trained all the main stats but then it suddenly it didn't train any of them anymore. The NPC probably trained you to a level it was not meant to train you to at all... My problem occurred when I noticed an NPC that I hardly check out was training main stats even though I had been "maxed" in them for a very long time. I was thinking 'Oh boy! NPC's are around now that can train our main stats higher than before and I am one of the first people to find it!'. I started to train my will which was already 80 and got to about 80.10 (10 % done training to level 81) when the NPC suddenly was no longer showing any of the main stats. I then realized it probably wasn't meant to be showing or training them at all.... The good news is that I didn't get to a higher level though so all is well. Also keep looking there is an NPC that can continue to train you in strength but they might just be very far away .
