Furnace - you forget you loose
« on: November 07, 2006, 12:48:37 am »
I have a game enhancement proposal...

It is quit anoying to wait for the furnace if people just do not get their ready made items out in time...
I suggest there itenms will fall out of the furnace in 10 min. So others can use it again (and steal yours)

In the next release, GMs will be able to clear out the furnace once it becomes clogged with items people are not retrieving.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Thats a good thing but why not automatically so nobody has to worry about them.

Actually, the code for that has been written. It hasn't been submitted yet because the devs have more important things to do at the moment, like converting Planeshift to the CrystalSpace 1.0 engine.

I thought Crystal Space was working towards the 1.0 engine but it hadn't been released yet?

They already had a pre-release. I think it's pretty safe to refer to CS's trunk (latest) as 1.0, they already feature-froze it and are only bugfixing now.
