digging problem (solved)

I'm confused with mining skill even I have read the manual carefully. I invested about 7 progression points into the mining skill (and i filled the yellow bar with the green one) an it's still impossible for me to dig both iron or gold. There is always a system message, that I don't have the skill for mining.  What I'm doing wrong? (I do have a rock pick.)

edit: The problem may be, that I'm still on 0 level of digging, although I can't put more points into the theoretical knowledge because it's already full (green). But why?

Do you have it in the right hand? (right in this case meaning both direction and correctness).  Also, remember that in the inventory you are facing your character, so the right hand is on the left.

Yes, my pick is i my right hand (alhought I think it doesn't matter). I've probably forgotten to express the point. I know why I can't digging -- I have digging skill on 0 level. (I suppose I need 1 level). The point is, that although I've invested many progression points into it (and I can't anymore, bacause it's full) I have still level 0.

Before you reach the new level you should gain practical experience.
Even with level 0 you should be able to mine. Go to the gold mining spot and try "/dig gold".
It should work.

I've just relogged and now it works.    Strange.
