DirectX and how it could help!

DirectX is a microsoft prog[yea yea i know microsoft]
It helped me run my game a lot better, you get tests on anything from picture to sound and what u cant hear or see it updates on your computer, so for any noob like me who dont know much about anything tech, first of make sure you have DirectX.

I rarely say this but you are completely wrong.

Yeah, it would be nice for windows users, but people here play on systems including, Linux Windoze, MacOS and BSD.

Yes of course i meant windows

microsoft windows  windows microsoft im sorry i didnt think  itd be a problem for a mac BSD or linux person to know that, ill try to make myself crystal in the future.

Ok, I may be misunderstanding but if you are saying that people should get DirectX and it will help them run this game:

1. Windows will not run without DirectX in some form, it comes with all versions of windows since Win9x.

2. This game doesnt require DirectX because it uses OpenGL instead which makes it cross platform and 'easilly' portable to other OS's.

I think what he means is the dxdiag.exe program which is installed with DirectX. It is a very useful app to check that you have things working.

I would class it as vaguely useful in very limited circumstances. I cant honestly think when it has ever helped me solve a problem. Maybe my PC is just too obedient
