Sorted

I'm finding it rather hard with communicating with characters in there. I'm now trying to give puntaj a book and he's not accepting it. Grr :@#\

This is probably the single most infuriating thing about Planeshift, at least for me...

I'm just not very good at speaking in a plain, broken manner :P

Ah but a search of this forum will provide that particular answer...

Hi guys. I've got it all sorted. But yeah, I totally agree. The language needs a little more development. A few months back there was a user called 'Zif'. Has anyone seen him around? :offtopic:

I would like to point out at this moment that we are -supposed- to be testers of the game, not twenty questions experts/NPC mind readers. It is ridiculous in the extreme to worry about spoiling a 'quest' for someone when it is obviously spoiled already, and all the fun gone out of it by trying to guess -that- -one- -phrase-.

In other words, give out all the answers to all the quests there are now in a "Spoilers and Quest Answers" part of the guide or forum, so that folks can TEST to see if they work, not spend hours trying to guess what the bot wants you to say, only -then- to find out the quest is broke.

Once testing is over, and the NPCs can understand basic sentences, -then- go back to the guessing game.

This is why I never talk to NPCs.

I'm with Moonman 100%

I refuse to go on quests now unless I'm fully equipped with all the phrases I need. The hardest thing to do is trying to RP such an OOC concept like keywords out of another character...

Especially when you're a snake-talking psychopath... :P
