Hi there, so I just dtumbled upon this game and have to say it looks very ambitious adn inovative. I really have not had time to actually play, but i did set up my cahracter, and I have to say it was very interesting all the things i had to fill out.

However, I was wondering is this game fully completed or is there still under development, cause i couldnt help but notice some things were not working properly. Also any advice on how i should start, this is really the first mmo i have played and would like some advice.

Indeed, it is beta, when you installed the game the terms of agreement stated "this is not a full game" hence why its called planeshift tech demo, its in development stages, but still can be quite fun.

This game is only at version 0.3.018, so we're quite far from 1.0 - it's a constant work in progress. Things are breaking, being fixed, changed, and added all the time. We have major releases every two months, and are really close to making 0.3.019 available. It's hard to give approximate timelines for when the game will be "complete," because we do this in our free time and we never know how much of it is going to be available, sometimes even on a weekly basis. But development never stops

We have a Guides and Tutorials section on this forum, as well as the Support and Documentation sections on the website. The main thing you'll probably want to keep in mind is that in PlaneShift, roleplay takes the priority. As long as you act like your character would instead of you as a player, you're going to have fun and enjoy your time here. Almost everyone here can tell you that our community is an addicting thing.

Don't worry, your grandchildren will see Planeshift reaching version 1.0 from the Mars Planetary Network.   

Shipping costs are a bit expensive, so it would be better for them to buy something together with the free(just shipping costs, nothing more) Planeshift from Earth.

They shouldn't play on an Earth server too because the astronomical distance between both planets mean an astronomical lag(or not, who knows how tech will be once PS reaches 1.0? )

thanks for teh welcome. i really didnt hae too much time yesterday to fully check everything out, but ill go into it today. id be glad to help out with like sugestions and things, so feel free to ask me anytime, since I think that this game has a  lot of potential.

anyways, right now i will try to find out how big the world is and try to start making money
