Did I just break a quest?
« on: May 15, 2007, 03:44:48 am »
I was doing a certain quest, and I had to pay money. But, I didn't have exact change so I couldn't. Then, I tried asking him again, but I realized that I had to give him the item that I had already given him for it... Did I just break the quest and force me to start over? I hope not...

Knowing how the quest system works - yes, you'll have to start over. I just stopped doing them...when you make some...I don't know, street fighting Enki with tons of weapons and scars all over his body, you don't want him seen doing a little errand. =/

It's impossible to start quests over, even when they're broken.  It used to be that you could drop a quest if you broke it.  But then people complained about dropping quests they didn't mean to drop, or dropping quests that you can't get again easily.  So the devs changed things to make it so you can't drop quests AT ALL... even if they're broken, or bugged, or interfering with other quests.

Your best bet is to get the quest item using another character and then give the quest item again using your main character.

Incorrect. You can discard any quest.

PvP is also disabled in the arena.  I think it's all due to the client reversion.
