Improving performance
« on: June 20, 2007, 04:35:20 pm »
Hello, I'm new here.

I have searched this forum a bit, but I didn't find any information regarding this topic, so I started a new topic.

The thing is that planeshift uses a lot of PC resources. My sister wanted to play this game, but she gets ~8 FPS, so she can't play the game normally.
Is there a way to reduce effects, shaders or something that she could play smoothly?

Her computer specs are:
Intel Celeron 2 GHz
448 MB RAM
64 MB VRAM (Integrated ATI card)

You may change the quality settings in PS setup.
You can put a 800x600 resolution and put the Quality / Speed option to max (Multisampling, Anisotropy, Texture downsampling).
