Laanx - Male or Female???

hey all,
I just finished reading the "history" on the main planeshift page and noticed an irregularity in the story. Laanx goes from a female at the beginning of the story to a male after disfiguration and back to a female towards the end. Is this intentional or a typo? Was the disfiguration a sex change?
Just a thought.

No, laanx chose to become male after undergoing mental scars... His personality changed. So he turned himself into a man to fit with his new mind set.
