Missing a step somewhere

       I downloaded the new version 3.02. What I got ws an exe file that I can't open. Do I need to place it somewhere and/or remove something else. After download I tiried to log into the game and get A notice to run the updater because I have the wrong version. I know that It isn't ready. I looked and am looking through the forums for the missing steps if you know what I need to do please reply.

The file you downloaded is probably a torrent. Is it called something like "Planeshift020.exe.torrent"? If so, that file is only mean to initiate the actual download. You will need a bittorrent client (www.bittorrent.com) to open that file and download the actual client.

Thanks I did do that but still ended up with the same thing. I will remove it and try again and let you know the results. Thanks again

Ok I got it. I had downloaded bot torrent 6.0 and needed to restart my system for it to work. Installing the game now. Hope to see you all soon. My thanks again ThomPhoenix.
