I'd go with Bilbous' solution. Some way to keep your afkness IC. If possible I think an "/away" command that works in the main would be intresting. Only it would function as a "/me" that would respond anytime your name is mentioned. So for example if someone says
"Hey Duraza"
The command would activate and whatever response I choose would be the reply whether it be
"Duraza is asleep"
"Duraza is daydreaming"
Or whatever else. Leaves room for creativity on the players side. If not more animations similar to the sit command to make your character look like they are sleeping, etc would work too.
