Startup problems

Whenever I try to start up the planeshift game, i log in and all, the it starts loading.  When it gets to \"loading world\" it freezes or something.

what are your system specs?  It can take over 5 mins to load for lower end systems.

This problem has been addressed in a billion different threads (not actually a billion, probably only a couple hundred million, but still). Read the other ones before posting.

Ummm....

I have the same problem on my system (1.4 Ghz and DSL connection) do I really need a faster CPU????

Also when I ctrl+Alt+Del it says th program is not responding.....

I too am facing the same problem.. i spent 5 hours searching for another MMORPG to play on, cause i\'m getting sick of ultima online, and too broke to pay monthly for any of the others. i have like 655 ram and a 2 gig processor, and also a 3d card... what could the problem be?
