Avatars only team-members can use, you are free though to use a signature-banner of a given max size.

Ah. Can you tell me how to post a picture signature? All it does is post a question mark when I drag and drop a picture.

You need to have your image hosted (www.imageshack.us for instance), then copy the link, click the button "Profile", "Forum Profile Information" on your left side, up there, scroll down to the Signature-field, paste the link and add behind the link.
