Planeshift Standard Time

I've logged on to our most noble game several times now, at different times of the day, but so far I've been unable to find any connection between the in-game time and the time of our so-called "Real World".  Is there a connection, or are they independant? And, if not, should there be?

Not that I really need to know, of course, but I feel a strange compulsion to find out odd details like this... Maybe it's a disease...

From what I understand the time ratio is 6:1 when one rl hour passes 6 game hours pass..

but I'v also heard its 4:1 but I just use the 6:1 I've heard it more... or I Tell people the time and say in [] rl time you do the math

There is a connection in terms of the ratio.  It's not like the in game hour changes at random.  But as far as things being in synch over the long term, that's not really possible at this point because the time resets every time the server is restarted...which these days is quite often.

Last I checked, 24 hours in PS pass in 1 real life hour. Not sure why this is in Hydlaa Plaza though, it's not off-topic to PlaneShift :)

Forums are OOC. That's why you can't post quest solutions for example.
