My server apache doesnt send the activation e-mail

I installed the website of planeshift, and my apache server dpnt send the comfirmation e-mail, im using ubuntu 9.04.
Any solution?

Let's try to get some more information here... are you speaking about installing the server & then trying to connect to the web interface that can allow you to modify the server data?

i think he installed the registration pages and is trying to make them work.

I think she's trying to say that the WWW folder is running under apache and the registration page does not send activation mail.

But that can also be due to your own mail configuration Debci. Make sure you can send mails from your server in the first place.

my server is my pc, for this i can install any program sto sned mails with php, yes i downloaded www folder of the svn and i installed, but the php not send the mail ¿why? ¿that program i ned (for linux) to obatain the php can send the comfirmation e-mail?
