Loking status windows

I'm going to explain this "problem". I've tried to search something about it, but I wasn't able to find anything interesting, so I'm going to post my question directly ^_^

This is the problem: when I open PlaneShift I always have to set the position of all the windows: status, chat and the others. Now, my question is: Is this only a my problem? (I hope not) Can I set windows' position at start for example using an xml file? Which file? Or a way to "lock" the cells?

Setting every time the cells' position is quite an inconvenience. ^_^

normally once you placed your windows (HP bars, chat, shortcuts, etc etc etc..), their position are save after you log off =o
i think the file which contains the information is planeshift.cfg which is located:

Linux: ~/.PlaneShift
MacOS X: ~/Library/Application Support/PlaneShift
Imac: /Users/<username>/Application Support/PlaneShift
Vista: C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\PlaneShift
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\User_name\Application Data\PlaneShift

for windows (only?), it is a hidden folder. so you will have to make all folders visible

I'm sorry, I forgot to say that my OS is Linux (Ubuntu). Shouldn't it be cause during setup i set "777" permission to my current user, to start it from the application bar, without opening the terminal?

777 should be right but double check the permissions on that file.  If you can't right to it then your settings will not be saved.
